Itinerary Details

The second day of the trip is mainly a city tour of Hyderabad begins with the Charminar Gate- Hyderabad’s biggest landmark with four ornate minarets hold together by 4 massive arches. This monument was built in 1591 by Mohammed QuliQutab Shah.

Later in the day, mark a visit to Salar Jung Museum- the third largest museum in the country and Mecca Mosque- one of the oldest and as well as largest in the country. The twilight is for attending Sound & Light show at the Golconda Fort. Overnight stay.

Today post breakfast, in the morning, visit toRamappa Temple- an ancient temple, built during the 12th century at the time of Kakatiyas reign. The next visit is mark to Thousand Pillared Temple- built in 1163 AD by KingRudra Dev of Kakatiya dynasty.

Later visit the Warangal Fort- constructed during the 13th century and quite known for its delicately carved arches and pillars. Continue to Khammam by road. In the morning, mark a visit to the Sree Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple, located on the banks of river Godavari. This temple is dedicated to Lord Ram, was built during the 17th century. The succeeding visit is Kanaka Durga Temple, an ancient temple located on the banks of river Krishna, dedicated to Goddess Kanaka Durga. The twilight is for exploring the Undavalli Caves, sculpt out of solid sandstone in the 4th and 5th centuries A.D Stay overnight.

Today after having breakfast, hit the road to go to Kakinada. On the way, stop to visit a quaint French Church built during the 18th century and later explore a Serene Cemetery. The last visit is Draksharamam Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The temple has various inscriptions sculpt on it related to the traditions of Chola and Chalukyan dynasties. On arrival in Kakinada, complete the checkinn formalities at your hotel for an overnight stay. If time and energy allows, you can visit the surroundings on foot.

The 8 day morning, hit the road to Visakhapatnam. On the way, halt at Sankaram- an important site for Buddhist devotees. This place has two mesmerizing images of Lord Buddha and Stupas that can be dated back to the 1st century AD. You can also explore some nearby rock-cut temples.

Afterwards, mark a visit to the Simhachalam Temple situated on a hilltop, this is a beautiful temple with 16 delicately carved pillars. Upon reaching Visakhapatnam, check-in your hotel for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast, disembark for visiting Araku Valley- a beautiful valley with picturesque waterfalls and gardens where you can involve in leisure activities, Borra Caves, also known as BorraGuhalu – famous for their Stalagmite and Stalactite formations, the last visit is toBheemili Beach where you can involve in the activities of your interest. Stay overnight at hotel.

On tenth day of the trip, you hit the road to go to Gopalpur on Sea. On the way, halt at Arasavalli temple, famous as an ancient temple of SuryanarayanaSwamy. The idol of the deity in this temple has been made in such a manner that its feet are embellish with the first rays of the sun twice a year.

Afterwards, continue driving going through some of the most fertile land rice fields, banana and jackfruit plantations in a very large quantity. On arrivingGopalpur on Sea, complete the check inn formalities at hotel. If you want, you can visit the surroundings on foot or mark a visit the beach as the day is at leisure. In the morning, after having breakfast, start driving towards Puri. After arriving, checkinn your hotel. Post lunch, disembark for sightseeing in Puri, Visit the famousJagannath Temple- dedicated to Lord Jagannath, GundichaMandir- called the Garden House of Jagannath and the nearby village of the artisans. Stay overnight at hotel.

Today, after breakfast, start driving towards Bhubaneshwar, en-route halt to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Konarak Sun Temple, also famous as the Black Pagoda, built during the 13th century. The next visit is marked to the Fisherman’s village, take a stroll around the village or observe the locals doing their daily chores.

Afterward, proceed to Bhubaneshwar. On reaching, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. If time and energy allows, you can indulge in leisure activities. Stay overnight at hotel.
