In the early morning after breakfast, move to Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan; it is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimages in India that is located in the center of the Trikuta Mountains at an altitude of approximately 5200 ft. The Yatra to the Bhawan includes a trek of almost 12 km from Katra Ban Ganga. If you are not comfortable completing trekking of 12 km then you can also hire pony/palkies or helicopter. Later after Mata Vaishno Darshan, you will visit Bhairon Temple. Then return to Katra in the evening. Enjoy an overnight stay at Katra.

You can visit Amarnath Mansarovar between the months of May to September. Though it’s not the peak season for tourists, you can enjoy a hassle-free tour in temperature between 9-35 degrees.
Jammu station is 178 km away from Amarnath. Reaching Jammu, hire a cab to reach Baltal or Pahalgam and then enjoy a 1-2 days trek for reaching Amarnath.
During your Amarnath Mansarovar Yatra, you can explore many other natural wonders and beauties like Amarnath Cave Temple, Chasmashahi, Shalimar Garden, Shalimar Garden, Nishant Garden, etc.

Nights are quite cold here as the temperature drops down significantly and so at night, one should stay in the camps or sheds allotted to them.
During your Amarnath Mansarovar Yatra, you should carry and wear clothes like woolen, raincoat, gloves, jackets, woolen socks, trousers, etc. The weather is cold so carry thermowears along with some basic clothes.
